Asian flame moss gets its name from its growth form. Tight, vertical, slightly wavy shoots look like a dark green campfire, 5-15 cm high. The special shape makes the flame foam very suitable for horizontal surfaces and it only spreads slowly horizontally.
Tie the moss to small stones or small bundles on tree roots for a nice effect.
