How to acclimatize

Fish

  1. Let the bags float in your aquarium for 15-30 min so that the water temperature is the same.
  2. Open the bag and pour the water and the fish(es) into a container. 5 gallon buckets are recommended.
  3. Hang an air hose using a clamp on your aquarium connecting to the container. Create a siphon in the pipe and tie a knot to reduce the water flow to 2-3 drops per second. (Drip acclimatization)
  4. Let the acclimatization take place for a period of around 45 minutes. Keep an eye on the fish(es) to make sure they are doing well.
  5. Introduce the fish(es) into the aquarium using a net. It is important not to put the water from the bags in your aquarium.

Plants

  1. Remove the plant from the bag carefully to not damage any leaves.
  2. Remove the pot and the floss attached to the bottom of the plant.
  3. Rinse the plant with room temperature tap water.
  4. Plant, attach or glue the plant according to the recommended placement

It is always easier to plant in the humidified soil without water in the aquarium.
