Tropica Limnophila hippuridoides

Limnophila hippuridoides is native to Asia and its stems can reach up to 20-50 cm in height and 6-10 cm in width – most often with attractive outward-curving shoots. An easy plant that knows how to adapt to very different environments.
The leaves are green with a red-purple lower part. Under ideal growing conditions, the leaves will turn entirely red-purple. It is a strong growing plant, which will happily develop new strong shoots at its base. Removing the oldest and longest shoots is recommended to make room for new shoots. Replant them, they will quickly form new roots.
If the plant is damaged in the leaves or stem, it will emit a fairly strong scent.
