Tropica Anubias barteri var. barteri

Anubias barteri var. barteri: Undemanding Anubias of West Africa. Becomes larger than Anubias barteri var. nana, but is cultivated in the same way.

It can reach 25 to 45 cm in height and the rhizome which carries the leaves can reach a length of 10-15 cm, or even more. Anubias barteri is a species with leaves of variable shape and size.
As with other Anubias, plant it preferably in the shade to prevent it from being too infested by algae.

Perfect for growing in (aqua)terrariums and paludariums. Not consumed by phytophagous fish because its leaves are rigid and leathery.
