Tropica 1-2-Grow Hygrophila lancea 'Araguaia'

“Araguaia” is a river located in Brazil, which gave its name to this stem plant. However, many of its characteristics seem to indicate that it is Hygrophila lancea from Japan and Hong Kong.

The stem reaches 10 to 20 cm high and 6 to 15 cm wide. The habit is compact with dense foliage and a natural tendency to branch. Pruning the stems will help maintain the bushy shape. Colors range from saffron red to purple red and will show up under the right conditions. Growth speed is moderate compared to other Hygrophila.
