Tropica 1-2-Grow Hydrocotyle tripartita

Hydrocotyle sp. "Japan" is the popular name of the plant in various plant forums. It is a variant of Hydrocotyle tripartita from Southeast Asia.

It is characterized by rapid, compact growth and small, intense green leaves on upright stems. The plant forms a mat (5-10 cm in height) and its compact growth can be encouraged by physically pressing down on the mat with your hand when servicing your aquarium (mechanical delay). Mat formation and compact growth works best in good light.
