Eleocharis pusilla is even weaker growing than the common Eleocharis parvula and was given to Tropica by Thomas Barr from the USA. Plant the mini-version in small portions to cover a large area. In no time, you will have a dense mat. Needs light to function optimally, however, it is one of the most reliable species for creating a carpet – and minimal maintenance since the leaves stay short (3-5cm). Suitable for nano aquariums.
