Seachem Flourite Black Sand

Seachem Flourite Black Sand is the highest quality substrate. Composed of specially fractured stable porous clay that has been ground into a fine sand and designed specifically for use in natural planted aquariums. The mineral-rich sand is an attractive deep black color that is not chemically treated or coated and will not alter the delicate pH balance inside the tank. Sand is most effective when used alone, but it can also be mixed with other types of substrate without any negative reactions. Gravel modifiers such as laterite are not necessary for the success of this sand.

Although the media is pre-washed, it should be rinsed thoroughly before use to remove any residual dust. Small amounts of initial cloudiness are normal and will disappear fairly quickly.
