Roche Black Slate

This rock is generally flat and is very useful for aquascaping caves and creating surfaces that create refuges. It is also an excellent surface for mounting/rooting many aquatic plants such as anubias, java fern and most mosses. Black slate is also considered nearly or completely waterproof and will not degrade underwater.
