Dennerle Bucephalandra sp. 'Red Scorpio'

The Bucephalandra sp. 'Red Scorpio' is a plant that is still quite rare today. The name refers to the red coloration of the rhizome. With good lighting and sufficient nutrient content, the coloration is more pronounced. Other characteristics are the beautifully wavy edges and the dark olive green coloration of the leaves. The upper side of the leaves is additionally dotted with small silver dots, which further enhances the impression. Like all Bucephalandra species, 'Red Scorpio' grows ideally on wood and stones. This Bornean beauty is highly recommended for aquascaping, especially on a filigree root structure.
