This miniature version of the famous Alternanthera is characterized by compact growth and a slower growth rate. It is particularly suitable for small aquariums or as a foreground plant in large aquascapes. By careful pruning, it is possible to create a dense purple-red carpet about 5-10 cm in height. High light intensity and the addition of CO2 improve plant growth and overall appearance.
