Technical background
The occurrence of diseases in the marine aquarium can lead to significant fish losses if left untreated. Disease usually occurs when a fish's immune system weakens due to stress - poor water quality, poor diet, sudden changes in the environment, as well as injury from boating or fights are sources of stress. Bacterial infections are one of the most common diseases in marine fish. Pathogenic bacteria attack the skin tissues of marine fish, reproduce rapidly and, if left untreated, will lead to the loss of fish.
Bacterial infections usually present as visible ulcers, open sores, cloudy or protruding eyes, tail and fin rot, mouth fungus, and redness in the fins, tail, and throat. fish body. Conventionally, antibiotics have been used to treat these infections. Over time, bacteria species have developed natural immunity to antibiotics used to treat infections, leading to poor treatment outcomes and increased fish loss. Brightwell Aquatics Fish Recover M is an all natural botanical extract and not an antibiotic.
Not only will Fish Recover M attack and eliminate the bacterial infection, but it will also help in the regrowth of skin tissue lost due to the disease. Early diagnosis is essential, followed by immediate treatment to minimize fish loss. To further help improve fish health, add Brightwell Aquatics Vitamarin-C, a concentrated vitamin C supplement for all marine fish and reef aquariums. Vitamin C is well known as a natural immune stimulator.
Instructions and guidelines:
Note: Koral Recover and Marine Fish Recover have the same basic ingredients. Do not use them simultaneously on the same aquarium. To do this, it will be necessary to overdose the aquarium! Do not use this product without a working protein skimmer! Important: You must observe corals carefully while using this product! Failure to do so may allow an overdose and the corals may be damaged if you overdose! You may notice a temporary retraction of coral polyps upon initial addition of product, as corals are very sensitive to any sudden changes in their immediate habitat. It is not uncommon, after 3 to 5 days of use, for corals to close up or cloudiness to appear indicating an overdose. If this happens, increase the foam production of the skimmer and perform a 25% water change. If corals remain closed, slow down or discontinue use until corals reopen and cloudiness clears. Reinstall the carbon to reduce the drug level in the system. Signs of overdose are corals not opening and excessive cloudiness. Note: This product treats bacterial infections, not parasites! It does not treat Marine Ich or Oodinium. Shake the product well before use. For best results, add product to an area of high water flow to disperse it effectively throughout the aquarium. For Disease Treatment: Add 5ml (1 capful to 500ml bottle) of Fish Recover M per 10 gallons of aquarium water. Add daily at the recommended dosage for a total of 7 days to effectively eliminate the disease. The skimmer should be kept running during processing.
For best results, remove activated carbon, chemical filtration resins as they will remove the active ingredients. It is common to see excess foam in the protein skimmer after processing. Empty the skimmer collection cup if necessary and set it for normal foam production. Provide some wet foam. A 25% water change is recommended after the 7 day treatment cycle. Further dosing may be implemented if signs of disease persist after the initial treatment cycle. Do not use without skimmer!
Prophylactic Use: Add 1 capful of 5ml (1 capful on a 500ml bottle) of Fish Recover M for every 10 gallons of aquarium water for 3 days whenever new fish are added to your aquarium. This prophylactic dose will help prevent outbreaks. If the corals remain closed, do a 25% water change.
Brightwell Aquatics Fish Recover M is designed for use directly in the aquarium or quarantine system.
Caution: Keep out of reach of children. In case of eye contact, flush with water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, consult a doctor. If swallowed, contact a poison control center. Do not use for human consumption or on fish or invertebrates intended for human consumption!
